How do I get my hair like aly michalka in the movie easy A?

i'm a hairdresser but i have had SO many perms in the past. it's definitely a decision. i think you should try to work with your hair a bit first. buy a diffuser and good product and see what kind of curls you come out with. in my opinion, perms can be amazing but they can also be a big mistake. after all, it is permanent and if your hair grows fast, it's difficult to maintain. a perm should be your last resort but i would try playing around with different products and tools, etc. hope this helped:)
