How to find longitude and latitude of iphone pic?

Hey everyone, I'm confused about this geo tagging thing. If I have a picture, how do i find the longitude and lattitude of that pic (considering it was taken on a iphone with the notification turned on). How do I then place it on a map or which program to find the location of it?
