98 Cavalier roars only when it rains?

I just got a new muffler on it and now every time it rains it roars and acts like rain is its worst enemy. It doesn't seem to like to run in the rain but still moves can someone tell me an issue that could possibly fit this description? if it helps it has 190,000 miles on it but still in great shape kind of.
