My mr2 year 86 had a problem right after an oil change?

I just bought this car used, 130 k miles from a previous owner and I went to give it an oil change today. Driving it was no problem, however after the oil change, I would press on the accelerator but it would the car would not speed up past 20 mph unless I pressed the on it alot harder. And when I do my engine would roar and my car would just have this "boost", Im confused on what happened, and im assuming the guys at jiffy lube messed something up, since this is the first time it occured
