So, does Rosetta Stone really work?

Rosetta Stone is great in the fact that it helps introduce a lot of words and phrases with pictures depicting the situations that they apply to but it does not teach you grammar rules and things like that. I'm sure there are many other resources for Italian that are cheaper or even free that would work just fine though. But if you do choose to get Rosetta Stone, you may find yourself looking up things online a lot when you get confused about grammar or something. Do some looking around and try to find some online sources first to see how you do with them. Maybe look at http://www.busuu.com i've heard it's a good site though i've never used it.
